Spent extra and got a king room with a view of Taal. The view was worth every extra penny/piso. Our 8th floor room was a bit run down and needed some cosmetic work. Wind blew in around the door, it needed new seals. Otherwise, no real …

The room was very outdated with run-down facilities. The room was quite unclean. The wardrobe used to have doors but seemed like the doors were taken down (please refer to my photos). As such, the light inside the wardrobe couldn’t be turned off because there were no doors. My partner has to take the light bulb off so we can sleep. It was so noisy at night because the door to the balcony wasn’t closed properly. Hope the hotel would spend some money to refurb the place in the future. The service on the other hand was good. We got great service from the concierge to the check-in staff and cleaning staff. What a shame that the room conditions are letting down the whole experience

Even though the hotel looks nice from the outside, the room was quite unclean, noisy and the door to the balcony couldn’t be closed properly. We had to sleep with all the noise from the road like motorbikes, trucks and the nightclub. There were no doors to the wardrobe. Reading light was fallen off. Mould was found everywhere in the bathroom. The list goes on. However the service was great on the other hand. The check in staff, cleaning staff, breakfast staff and concierge have been all so friendly, attentive and helpful. Overall, we don’t recommend this hotel purely because of the room condition and facilities.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a training session in November 2023. The accommodations were excellent, with clean rooms and fresh towels provided daily. The food was also top-notch, with a wide variety of options to choose from. While I only had the chance to use the swimming pool once, it was quite chilly during this time of year. Nevertheless, the staff was incredibly polite and helpful, making my overall experience very positive. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Despite of the age of this hotel, the management was able to maintain the cleanliness of the exteriors, lobby and hallways. Their rooms are tolerable but somehow really needs some upgrading. The hotel has always been our priority when we visit Tagaytay because of their location and superb customer service.

This is a hotel with poor service, poor facilities, and false pet-friendliness. Trust me, any pet friendly hotel is better than this one. Believe me, this hotel is currently the worst pet-friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked a pet-friendly double room for 6000 plus per night, which is close to 7000p per night, but when we checked in, he temporarily informed us that pets would cost extra even though they charged extra. They pay for pets but they are not friendly to pets at all. They don’t even provide drinking water for pets. We spent nearly 7000p. The lake view room we booked turned out to be a connecting room at the end. The hotel was under construction and close to the road. It was very noisy. The door lock was broken. There was a thick layer of ash in the bathroom. There was no one-time service provided by a star-rated hotel. Toiletries, bed sheets and duvet covers are not new. Only 2 bath towels are provided. The toilet paper is not new and has been used by others. The floor at the door is bulging and it is very difficult to open the door. The TV does not have any channels. When it comes to breakfast, it is very annoying because we have a small dog, so we chose Sitting outside on the lawn there was no service at all and we were not even given napkins and later I found out there were no people around with dogs and they were all served water a range of services only us no cutlery no service water and after we had just finished and were ready to drink coffee When the waiter came over very eagerly to take away our plates and cutlery, I thought they were replacing new cutlery for us, but they did not collect the cutlery. I hope we hotel guests will leave quickly. The buffet feels like a lot of leftover food from the night before. It’s not a new hotel. Except for poor facilities, poor service, poor hygiene, and expensive price, it can’t even compare to the island hotel where I went to surf. For the most honest review, please see the picture.

I know I may be spoiled when it comes to hotels, and vacation getaways but I don’t ask for too much when it comes to upkeep. I know I’m not insane when all I want is clean sheets and working bathroom Also quite! This place is loud and hard to sleep at night!! The windows are not sound proofed all you hear are cars and people outside all night long. Horrible sleep!! My stay at the summit so far is not bad but I probably won’t ever book here again. The shower had the clothes lines extended and black mold!!! And of course when I wanted to put it back it didn’t work. After several minutes of twisting and turning and hurting my finger I got it to go back fully. Just gross to see black mold in a hotel!!! On top of that the over head shower doesn’t work without hurting your self pushing the broken button in. The sink can’t be left on more than a few seconds without overflowing, the place has broken things everywhere like the floor tiles, My wife nearly took a bad fall just stepping out of our room! The tv is horrible the cable has more shows with sound and no picture than channels that actually have picture. On top of that the cable is not HDMI it’s AV!! Super old. Best part of the place is the Air-con because it works perfectly and probably the only thing that’s nice. The bathroom has almost no lighting it’s horrible and the bedroom is almost the same but not terrible. Cant forget there is almost no hot water!!! Also when we first arrived there was less then half a roll of TP in the bathroom and two pieces of tissue in the tissue box, when I called to request just tissue and TP the entire team came for turndown service when I didn’t not want it. I then told them no thank you we don’t want our room serviced and asked for just the toilet paper and tissue I asked for they returned when I went downstairs to drop my wife off in the lobby and started doing my room!! I literally said no and they still entered without my permission. I can’t deal with this place at all!! Prob the second worst hotel I’ve stayed in. 😂😂😂 no safe and my valuables all over the place was the reason I didn’t want anyone in my room. The breakfast was not bad so that was a plus. For the location and value I guess it speaks for itself, but I wouldn’t want my family to come here.
